UNDERGRADUATE TUITION 2026-2027
Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the cost to attend Bethune-Cookman University for one academic year (fall through spring). It includes both direct costs billed by the University and indirect costs that help you plan for additional expenses.
Direct Costs (Billed by B-CU)
These are charges that appear on your student account:
- Tuition
- Mandatory fees
- Room and board (for students living on campus)
Indirect Costs (Estimated Expenses)
These costs are not billed by the University but are included to help you budget for your education:
- Books and supplies
- Transportation
- Loan fees
- Dependent care (if applicable)
- Personal expenses (including a computer, if needed)
- Disability-related expenses
- Study abroad costs (if applicable)
The University reviews and updates the Cost of Attendance each year to reflect changes in expenses.
Important:
All first-time undergraduate students are required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable $200 enrollment fee during their first semester.

Undergraduate Tuition
📘 Students enrolled in more than 18 credit hours per term will be assessed an overload charge of $605.67 per credit hour for each credit hour exceeding 18.
📘 Students enrolled in fewer than 12 credit hours per term will be assessed fees at a rate of $50 per credit hour.
B–CU Global Online Program Fees
💻 Students enrolled in the B–CU Global Online Program are assessed a $500 technology fee per term.
💻 No additional fees apply to students in this program.
B–CU Global Direct Online Programs (Grandfathered Students Only)
🌐 Students enrolled in an 8-week Sub-Term B–CU Global Direct Online Interdisciplinary Studies, Criminal Justice, or Psychology program are assessed tuition at a rate of $250 per credit hour.
🌐 This rate applies exclusively to students who have been grandfathered into the Direct Online program.
Active Duty Military Tuition
🎖️ Active duty military students are assessed tuition at a rate of $250 per credit hour.
🎖️ Active duty military students are exempt from all additional fees.

📚 Course materials are included; however, students may elect to opt out prior to the established opt-out deadline. Official opt-out dates are published on the BookSmart and Student Account website. For opt-out dates click HERE, and log in to WildCat Web.
