Fall 2019 Refund Notification

Beginning September 19, 2019, the Office of Student Account Services will be issuing refunds on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Refunds will be posted to students’ BankMobile accounts who meet the conditions below:
1. You are currently enrolled full-time for the Fall 2019 semester; if you are enrolled in less than 12 credit hours, your financial aid awards may be reduced or canceled.
2. Your classroom attendance has been verified, and your financial aid has been released and posted to your account.
3. You have a credit after all charges have been applied to your account.
4. If you have a Parent Plus Loan, and your parent(s) have submitted a notarized authorization or have indicated on the plus loan application that the refund may be issued to you, then B-CU will release the refund to you.

 

Important Notes:

The student is responsible for repaying any funds you receive that exceed your financial need.
The financial aid award may be adjusted, or repayment may be required if the student becomes ineligible (e.g. dropping classes, withdrawing, not attending classes, or make other academic changes), and could result in a balance for any charges that may occur after your refund has been issued.
Disbursement of a refund may not eliminate a prior balance. Please check for prior balances at https://wildcat.cookman.edu/ICS/ or by emailing studentaccounts@cookman.edu.

Attention Students and Faculty

All Fall 2019 courses are in CANVAS!

 

Follow the below steps to gain access to CANVAS courses:

 

1.      Go to Wildcat Web ( Do NOT log in)

2.      Look on left-hand side of the screen

a.      You will see Canvas Students or Canvas Faculty/Staff, under Quick Links.

3.      If you are a student click on Canvas Students, if your are a faculty member click Canvas Faculty/Staff

a.      If you are logged into your Google email, you will be automatically logged in to CANVAS.  If not, then use your Google email credentials (Bethune-Cookman email) to login.

 Once you submit the schedule acceptance form, you may access your courses in Canvas if the professor has already published the course(s).

Please be aware that there is a delay between submitting the form and the courses appearing on Canvas.

*Financial Clearance Deadlines and Payment Requirements*

 

Spring 2020
Wednesday, December 11, 2019 

  • Your Fall 2019 balance cannot exceed $3,000; however, if you have a balance, it must be paid in full by March 1, 2020. If the balance exceeds $3,000, a balance hold has been entered on your student account, and you will not be permitted to register.

Note: If you have financial aid that has not been released and posted to your student account, please contact the Office of Student Financial  Aid.

  • If your financial aid is not sufficient to cover your spring tuition, student fees, and room & board (if applicable), you are required to pay a minimum of fifty-percent (50%) of your spring balance by December 11, 2019, and the remaining balance must be paid by March 1, 2020. 
  • If you have a prior year balance remaining from an academic year that is prior to 2019-2020, you have until April 30, 2020 to pay the balance.

Note: If the above requirements have not been met, you will not be able to receive clearance to graduate, register for the spring semester, receive a transcript, & your room assignment will be removed (if applicable). If you have registered, your spring schedule will be dropped if the requirements are not met by end of day on December 11, 2019.
